PM Continues to Meet with Cambodians Living in Korea

SEOUL: Prime Minister Hun Sen, continues to meet with Cambodians living in South Korea after meeting with President Moon Jae-in and the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Park Byeong-Seug.

The meeting with Cambodians living in South Korea took place on Friday evening at the Lotte World Hotel, which is where the 2022 World Peace Summit is taking place.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Hun Sen had a face-to-face conversation about life, livelihood and work, including the lives of some of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who had left the country to stay with their spouses in the Republic of Korea. He added that he had wanted to meet with Cambodians in Korea for a long time, but because his schedule was so busy, and due to the spread of Covid-19 in Korea, the Korean authorities did not allow for any large formal gatherings.

The Cambodians who came to meet the Prime Minister told him that even though they left their homeland, they were really happy to live there and have a family in South Korea.

They expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Hun Sen for building a good bridge of friendship with South Korea, and especially for making their home country Cambodia have great happiness to this day.
